For some odd reason I still haven't seen this movie. I think I'll rent it this weekend.
Me and You and Everyone We Know is about a lonely shoe salesman and an eccentric performance artist struggling to connect in this unique take on contemporary life.

I looked for it at Target but nada! The search continues. Maybe it's just me but I prefer to not buy things online. Something about walking down rows of DVD is more exciting to me.
Hmm, I remember seeing it in my Cinema class in Grade 12. That wasn't the kind of film I would approach given that I'm not a fan of films dealing with a certain amount of sub-plots (not that I don't understand them). However, to be honest with you, it was quite enjoyable. By the way, how did you hear about this film?
Anh,
I don't remember how I initially heard about it. Maybe a friend, a blog. Wait--I do remember someone telling me to check out Miranda July but I can't remember who said it. I have so many movie chats it's hard to keep up!
Definitely one of the best films of 2005.
If you're looking at Target for your DVDs you are seriously missing out. They mostly only carry main stream/high profile films. If you're looking for Spider-man 3, you'll find it. But for a web site entitled "realsrtsy", I'm surprised Target is your preferred DVD store. Try a used place or an indie owned venue. They'll have it.
Miranda July recently did a short film which involves walking down a hallway as a metaphor for a lifetime. It was pretty awesome. There's actually something similar in "Me and You and Everyone We Know."
Target is definitely not my main source to find movies. If that were the case I wouldn't have seen some of my favorite indie films. But when it comes to blockbuster flicks, you can't beat their $5 deals.
As far as Miranda July goes, I'll probably add all of her films to my collection. Her short Are You The Favorite Person of Anyone? was really cute.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hilarious Movie... Have you checked your local library, or the southfield library? (thats where I rented it)

The library! Good suggestion. I've found some good films there.
