The CW axed a couple of its old shows to make room for a drama about models called The Beautiful Life and to offer yet another revamp of a 90s show, Melrose Place. That news doesn't excite or inspire me but I'm glad to see Corbin Bleu (High School Musical) get a gig alongside Mischa Barton on The Beautiful Life. He's the only reason I'll give that show a try. And on the Melrose front Jessica Lucas (Cloverfield) and Stephanie Jacobsen (The Sarah Conner Chronicles) will join the cast with Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. I didn't watch the original but I'll tune in for the first episode just for the sake of seeing new talent. Who knows, it could surprise me. I just hope Jacobsen doesn't have to cover her Australian accent with an American one because it's really cool.

Hmmm, I wonder if "The Beautiful Life" will be just like "Models Inc." ... they're really trying to bring back 90s television HARD.
Yeah, what 90s show are they gonna remake next? Perhaps Full House or Family Matters 2.0
